I was fortunate enough to receive a pair of Bose QC35 Wireless Headphone for Christmas and having used them for a good few months, thought I could now form a good story to tell about them. I’d been after a new pair of headphones for some time and was sure that after testing out Bose’s wired headphones that this brand was the one for me! I was totally sick of using in-ear pods and wanted something to really give me a true sound and fantastic quality. Did they make the grade?
These Bose headphones are said to be their best ones yet! Simply put, they are a wireless pair of QuietComfort headphones with built-in Bluetooth and noise cancellation that makes quiet sound quieter and music sound better! The whole idea around these Bose headphones is to drown out all outside and background noise so that your ears are exclusively listening to the music, at the highest possible quality. The other main idea is that they are easy to use on the go without the wire, no tangled cable and easy on and off, ready to be stored away in your briefcase.
Bose make you feel their power with the simple flip of a switch – the noise fades, and your music soars. That’s the power of their Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology, which continuously measures, compares and reacts to outside noise – then cancels them with the opposite signal. Simply put, it’s as if you turn off all noise in the world and listen to your chosen track!
It’s been said that you can’t get long battery life from wireless headphones. Bose say, “Try ours”. You can enjoy up to 20 hours of listening, enough time to pour through your entire playlist. And when it finally runs down, a quick 15-minute charge gives you another 2.5 hours. Which is absolutely fantastic! I have been astonished at how long these babies last for, I have been on numerous trips away and have used them to full capacity, and haven’t had to plug in and re-charge all too often!
As I am someone who frequently goes on adventures into Central London with the peril of daily life, I want to take my music anywhere and need headphones built to keep up. These Bose headphones are fitted with impact-resistant materials, glass-filled nylon and corrosion-resistant stainless steel basically engineered to survive life on the go. The materials really matter. That’s why the QC35 headband isn’t just soft, it’s luxurious. Wrapped in Alcantara – the soft covering material used by prestigious international companies in various applications, like yachts and high-end automobiles – it provides a welcome comfort designed for all-day listening. The ear cushions are manufactured from a synthetic protein leather, and have a silicone bead for passive noise reduction. All in all creating the ultimate dream headphone that can last all day and be worn without even noticing!
I’m absolutely overawed by these headphones, they truly are outstanding! The sound they produce is second to none, the comfort level is like riding first class on an aeroplane and the quality, technology and build is stupendous. I’m unsure how music lovers out there can live without these. The price is a huge sticking point at £330, but they are built with such perfection and will pretty much last an age that you wouldn’t need to reinvest! If you’re ever toying with the idea, wandering into Bose or any technology shop and try these headphones out… I promise you, you will not leave without them!
