A few months back I fancied a slight variation on my usual haircut. I decided upon this Sergio Ramos hairstyle. In the past few years, Ramos has had some very different haircuts, from his long bangs to a full dyed blonde head of hair. I saw his wild and stylish haircut that he had in the Champions League Final (that had very split opinions) and decided to get out on Pinterest and search for some of his more everyday and normal hairstyles. I came across this one, I like the sharpness, the military look it has and how sleek it is. It’s slightly daring as it has a bold line, but it looks fresh and I loved it!
My barber from the wonderful Juke Barbering (check them out on Facebook) is always thrilled to try out different haircuts and loves to mix it up! I asked for this Sergio Ramos hairstyle and he got underway! He started with the usual way he cuts my hair and that’s to outline where he would usually do the fade… Only this time he didn’t face the bold line. I had a 0.5 done at the bottom of the sides and back. He then mixed between scissor work and comb with trimmers to fix the top of the sides so they lay nicely. On the top, I don’t usually have anything cut unless it feels like it’s getting out of hand. This time we left the fringe length and cut a little bit of length of the middle of the head and thinned it (Because everyone is different and this part of my hair felt particularly heavy). It may sound easy but my barber takes his time and is a complete perfectionist, especially when doing this Sergio Ramos hairstyle. He finished with a medium heat dry and putting some putty in for styling.
I have since changed my haircut which is still very similar to the Sergio Ramos hairstyle, only now I don’t have the bold line… it’s more of a faded side. Which I prefer. You never know what I’ll try next, though… maybe a taper, grow it out or shave it off, we shall see! What do you think of the Sergio Ramos hairstyle? Do I suit it? Let me know in the comments.
